We assist mills in formulating calls for proposals and evaluating builders' proposals for capital projects; and assess the recommendations of builders' proposals and suggest changes and alterations to eliminate any process deficiency and help ensure an optimum start-up curve; and oversee the work of major engineering companies like Brown & Root, AGRA Simons, or Rust, examining the underlying the underlying assumptions on which their designs are based. This work usually is done on behalf of the mill involved but is occasionally done on behalf of the engineering company involved in such projects.
